Get Ready for Lacrosse
The Hudson School Committee has approved the addition of a Lacrosse team to the Hudson High spring 2008 sports line up. The approval was granted as a self-funded sport for the first two years. To successfully launch the team we need to raise $30,000 dollars to support the field equipment & officials, coaches, and uniforms. A fundraising committee has been formed and events are being planned.

Lacrosse is sweeping the nation and it’s made its mark on Hudson High School. 30 girls and 39 boys have begun to learn first hand just how much fun the fastest game on foot can be. Hudson will host three teams for the spring 2008 season.
We have a girls JV team and two boys teams (freshmen and JV ). We are also adding additional freshmen girl’s games to make sure everyone has an opportunity to play at their skill level.
Starting a new sport is not an easy task and Hudson would not have been able to launch these teams without the generous donations from our community partners.
